CJCD: Public hearing on the Mackenzie Valley pipeline is set to get underway. The Joint Review Panel announced on Friday they had enough information to proceed to the public hearing phase of the environmental review. A spokeswoman for the Northern Gas Project Secretariat Annette Bouchois (?) says the staff of the JRP has been going to communities for information sessions.

BOUCHOIS: To help community residents understand how they can bring any concerns that they may have forward to the panel when the panel comes to their communities and the panel did release a list of communities that it would be visiting, as well as a list of topics.

CJCD: Bouchois adds the hearing dates have not yet been scheduled.
